Our Story

Our Beginning

Our family business was born years ago on the banks of the Suwannee River during a canoe trip in 2005. It was there that our dad (Bob,) my brother (Billy,) my husband (Skipper,) and a close family friend (Paul,) spent many weekends camping, fishing, hunting, and making stories that got better every time they told them.

The Night It All Started

One night, our dad made a pot of mild chili. Now, he loved spicy food… but Skipper, not so much. After getting tired of hearing Skipper whine about the spicy food, Dad pulled out a small glass jar filled with his homemade pepper blend and said, “Ok, there is your dinner for you sissies, but I got something to spice mine up.” Of course Skipper couldn't be a “sissy” so he said, “let me try some of that”

Skipper looked up immediately and said, “This is a million-dollar idea. You could market this and call it Redneck Pepper.”

At first, everyone thought he was crazy, but it didn’t take long before that “crazy idea” became a reality.

Growth Across the Country

Redneck Pepper took off. We were featured in major retailers like Gander Mountain, stocked in mom-and-pop shops across the country, and traveled coast to coast doing shows and sharing our product with people everywhere. Redneck Pepper quickly grew from a campfire creation into a product sold across the country.

When Life Changed

When the market crashed in 2013, the business eventually closed, and life took us all in different directions.

Skipper and I stepped into full-time ministry, and stayed in it for many years until my husband and I contracted Covid in 2021. On September 26, I lost my husband and best friend, Skipper, who passed despite fighting the illness and its after effects for two months.

Not long after, our family faced more hardship when my brother Billy underwent a liver transplant, and my Dad was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (brain cancer.) He underwent brain surgery, chemo and radiation in an effort to resist the disease and prolong his life. Then, on February 26, 2026, our dad went home to be with the Lord and Skipper.

By God’s Grace

By God’s grace, Billy recovered, and together we knew it was time.

Time to bring Redneck Pepper back.

Not just as a business, but as a way to honor the men who started it all, my Dad & Skipper.

What It Stands For

More than that, it’s a product you can trust for healthy eating. It’s still made with all-natural ingredients, dehydrated jalapeños (with seeds for that extra heat), red pepper, and black pepper; there's no sodium, no MSG, and no fillers. Just a bold, honest flavor made right here in the USA

Our Customers

The truth is, during our journey we’ve met some incredible folks. Our customers have never felt like just customers, they've always felt like family, and over the years, the voicemails, emails, and messages we’ve received have meant more to us than we can put into words. Your stories, support, and excitement are a big part of what brought Redneck Pepper back to life.
